Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy applies to orders placed directly through Better Pet Foods.

Your right to cancel

For online orders, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To cancel an order, please email us at sales@betterpetfoods.ie with your order number.

Once you have told us you wish to cancel, you must return the goods to us within 14 days.

Food safety and hygiene

For health, hygiene, and product safety reasons, we can only accept change-of-mind returns where the product is:

• Unopened
• Unused
• Undamaged
• In its original sealed packaging
• In a resaleable condition

Opened bags of dog food cannot be returned once the seal has been broken, unless the product is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Return postage costs

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service, such as DPD or An Post, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

If the return is due to our error, or because the product is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will cover the reasonable cost of return postage where a return is required.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@betterpetfoods.ie.

Please include:

• Your order number
• A short description of the issue
• Photos of the product and packaging

Where the issue is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement, refund, or another appropriate solution at no cost to you.

This does not affect your rights under Irish consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, or receive proof that it has been sent back to us, we will process your refund to your original payment method.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days.

For change-of-mind returns, we may deduct any loss in value caused by unnecessary handling of the product.
